Horse Drawn Delivery Van
Horse Drawn Occasions is able to advertise your business in a very special and personal way. This beautiful Delivery Van has picture frame type panels on the sides measuring 1885mm x 785mm & 1885mm x 245mm and one over the back doors measuring 1220mm x 275mm where you can display your Business details, whether opening a new store, special offers, product promotions, sales or even dates for shows, seasonal theater productions and public events, the options are endless.
With this unique way of advertising it gives a more personal and people friendly touch to your business and enables the public to get close. By using a Horse Drawn Van it gives a softer and more gentle approach to advertising without pushing it on to people and due to the leisurely pace it allows information to be easily absorbed by the public and people hear the horses coming and actually stop to watch us go by and read the signs at the same time.
We have looked into how some large supermarkets promote the opening of new stores and they use a motor vehicle towing a trailer with ‘A’ boards on the back and drive them through the local towns but does this really capture peoples attention or is it just another vehicle traveling down the road going about its daily business , is it going at a speed that people can absorb the information, can they get further information from the driver if needed and can they ask questions and be given leaflets from the driver on products etc, probably not.
There is plenty of room in the back of our Delivery Van to store promotional merchandise, maybe a company representative can accompany us to talk to people, we can even pull up outside of your store and allow the public to meet the horses.
This Van would be pulled by either a pair of our carriage horses (please see ‘horses section’ or by a pair of England’s oldest breed of Heavy Horses, the famous, category ‘A’ rare breed Suffolk Punch. They would be turned out to the highest standard with traditionally plaited manes and tails with your own company colour ribbons in the flights and wearing English leather harness finished off with brass fittings. What better sight could you wish for to convey your Business in true, old English style and know that it would be appreciated by one and all.
There is nothing like a horse and particularly a Heavy Horse to attract attention, even when we excise our horses around our local town of Chichester, West Sussex, people always shout out “what a lovely sight” or “can we pat them”, and of course they can have contact with them, we appreciate passers by taking notice of what we do and are proud of it. So just imagine what interest they would create if they were pulling this Van around towns and villages or outside of your store displaying your details.
People are really looking into where their food and products come from and how it is produced and transported and we feel that with this approach to advertising it brings back the traditional values which are so sadly being lost in this fast, motorised and computerised world. So why not be different and stand our from the others and use traditional, eco friendly horse power.
The Brewery Dray
This Dray can be painted in your own company colours with your details displayed on sign written boards on the sides and on the head board. Your company doesn’t have to be brewery related to advertise with this vehicle over the years major PLC companies have advertised in this way very successfully. It can be shown in trade classes at County Shows or take part in Parades, i.e. the Portsmouth Heavy Horse Parade on May Bank Holiday, this attracts many thousands of people who all could learn about your company. Throughout the Summer there is a show every weekend and some weekdays as well, you would be given a list to choose from.
THE NORFOLK REED WAGON
This wagon has been a fully restored to a very high standard and a high seat has been added for when it is used for Weddings or funerals to give it more appearance and give the driver a better driving position, however It can be removed should the wagon be needed in its true original form. It is suited to a single or pair and looks truly impressive It can have name boards placed on the sides should you wish to have your details placed on it when it is out and about in public. It also has two padded benches which can be placed in the back should passengers need a ride and has easy access steps at the rear.
THE RIDES WAGONETTE
The vehicle has proved very popular with top public attractions and shows where it has been used to do rides. The canopy gives shelter from the sun during the summer and can also have extra cover by rolling the sides down should the weather be wet and windy. The sides have clear plastic window for passengers to see out of.
