HANDS ON DAYS - SOCIAL DRIVES -

PUP  2 PUB RUNS & SING A LONG DRIVES

We can meet you and your friends at one of our local pubs and take you on an approximate one hour drive to another pub where you can have around half an hour to have a drink and chat before being taken back along another route to the first pub where you can finish off your evening  with a nice meal.

We have taken out many groups of people from family get togethers, birthday parties, gatherings of friends, clubs, stag & hen nights and even an afternoon out for a choir. Our favorite ones have been the World War sing a long nights. Again you can bring your own music or have ours. Bookings for tables must be made in advance and direct with the pub, menus can be sent to you in advance. These are truly good fun drives. Throughout the summer we can do lunch time or evenings but during the winter we can do lunch times only. You can bring your own drinks to have on route, we will supply the acrylic glasses to go with them, you can even bring party type snacks if you wish, there is a table in the middle of the wagon for you to put things on.

SCHOOL PROMS

For School Prom nights we can take up to four people in the Vis a Vis carriage, this is a truly elegant and special way to arrive in front of all your friends, it really is a way to turn heads and stand out in the crowd  that will be there to see you arrive. You can bring your own soft drinks to have along the way, we can supply acrylic glasses for this. We will also supply a box of chocolates for you to enjoy.  For larger groups of friends we can take up to ten people in the wagonette. Please see the ‘Carriage Section’ for more details.

VALENTINES DAY *  ANNIVERSARIES *  BIRTHDAYS * 

We can take you and your loved one on a truly romantic carriage drive with chocolates and Champagne on board around the country lanes and take you to a pub for a drink.

We can meet you at a pub so that you can be dropped back there for a special lunch together

‘HANDS ON DAYS WITH THE HEAVIES’

We invite you along for the day to spend time with our heavy horses, these are rare breed Suffolk Punches. If you are an early bird you can arrive in time to give them breakfast along with all the other horses as well, you can join in with the mucking out, grooming, be shown how to plait a mane and tail in traditional Suffolk style, how to harness up and then go out for a drive, you will finish your day by making sure the horses are fed and watered and bedded down for the night. We will supply a light lunch,  tea and coffee, if you have any special requirements with food you may wish to bring your own.

CHILDREN’S PARTIES

Horse Drawn Occasions can offer many different types of ‘Special Days’ to suit you, your friends and family, if we do not mention an idea that you would like to do please contact us and ask to see if we do it and we will do our best to help you.

We have done many childrens parties in the wagnoette, they have been able to bring a picnic and drinks to lay out on the table in the middle of the wagon and were able to enjoy these treats on the journey. They were able to bring their favorite CD’s to sing along to as well. We do ask at least one adult to join us on these trips. We can arrange to meet up with other parents or members of the family along the way.  It can also prove a very good idea for adults birthdays too.
